Public Art Committee
    The mission of the Tampa Public Art Program is to promote the involvement of artists in projects throughout the City that enhance the physical environment and celebrate Tampa's unique character and indentify. The goals of the Committee are to oversee the City's public art collection; enhance Tampa's environment with artworks of the highest level of quality and suitability for the site; serve as the coordinating body for all public art and memorial projects on city property; build partnerships with the private sector, non-profit and community groups; encourage participation by artists based in the City and the Tampa Bay Region; and, serve as an active source of information about Public Art. 2 consecutive terms. (No member shall serve than two terms. Committee shall be comprised of 1 City Councilmember; 1 Arts Council of Hillsborough County member or designee; 1 Landscape Architect, architect, urban planner, or related design professional; 1 active professionial artists; and 3 private citizens, knowledgeable in the field of public art, education, or community affairs. Serving as ex officio members shall be the Director of Arts and Cultural Affairs and the Director of the Tampa Museum of Art.

Tampa Housing Authority - City's Representatives
    Advisory Board for Housing Authority. The Board of Commissioners of the Housing Authority of the City of Tampa is the governing board that determines policies and resolutions to THA. The board approves decisions that chart the direction of THA's curent and future programs, as well as authorizes the actions of the President/Chief Executive Officer and his designee. The seven-member Board of Commissions is confirmed by the Tampa City Council and each member serves four-year terms. All commissioners must reside in the City of Tampa and at lease one Commissioner must be a THA resident. Employees of THA are not authorized to serve as Commissioners. Mayor Appoints With Council Approval.
